I just love this time of the year. Walking along the headlands and beaches looking out for whale tales is so exciting. Prime news reported last night that thousands of humpback whales have started their annual migration up the coast of New South Whales from Antarctica on their way to warmer waters. Spirit Cruises have just started their whale watching cruises and said that having an animal of that size (upwards of 40,000 kilos) swimming past is just wonderful. The simple fact that they don’t want to run away from you, they don’t want to bite you and really want to interact is quite phenomenal.
